PITANYANG DEFENSE Privacy Policy

1. Scope and device storage

This policy applies to the Android app PITANYANG DEFENSE (com.taechora.pitanyangdefense). You can play offline without signing in. If you choose to connect Google Play Games in App info, you can use Google achievements and cloud saving and restoration of game progress, currencies and the current run. You can keep playing locally without connecting. Online rankings (Ranked mode) are offered through our own leaderboard server only when you set a nickname in the Android app. Android offers optional rewarded ads and analytics enabled only with your permission; these features need a network connection. It connects to Google Play to load prices for in-app purchases (strawberry bundles, the starter pack, the Forever Pass and the Monthly Pass), to make purchases and to check them. Separately, the Google Play Billing library may send diagnostics about billing operations and client shutdown to Google. A diagnostic record may be created when the app closes even if you do not purchase anything or sales are disabled (section 2). The Monthly Pass is an optional, automatically renewing Google Play monthly subscription. The Forever Pass is a one-time purchase with no expiry. The Monthly Pass provides the same benefits while the subscription is valid. Neither pass includes outer cushion expansion, which is separate and uses coins.

The app stores village upgrades and coins, the cats that have joined you and your team, reclaimed regions and region and endless records, achievements, the collection, the battle state of your current run (the mouse clan, cats, cushions, health, yarn and so on), music and sound effect on/off and volume, haptics, screen shake, graphics and game speed settings, the tips you have seen, your language setting, and your strawberries, Cat Box record (boxes left until a guaranteed legend), legendary cats, whether you own the Forever Pass and the starter pack, and a check value for purchases already added (a shortened purchase token) on your device. This information supports continuation, records and your preferences. Rewarded-ad daily limits, revive use, records preventing duplicate rewards and your analytics choice are also saved on the device. Coupon reward receipts and pass rights are also saved on the device. An installation identifier is kept in Android app-internal storage and survives app updates. Whether double result rewards have been claimed is also saved on the device to prevent duplicate rewards. Monthly subscription status and the time of its last successful check are also stored on the device. If a subscription query fails, cached monthly rights remain usable for at most 24 hours after the last successful check, then require another online check. Permanent purchase and coupon pass rights are stored separately from monthly rights.

Village data, the current run, settings and tips use Android app-internal storage. Language and analytics choices use the app’s local storage. Complete save files are not sent to our servers or Firebase Analytics. When you choose to connect Google Play Games, the game save described below is stored separately in Google Saved Games. If you enable analytics, play events, results and scores are transmitted separately as described in section 2.

2. App collection, sharing and permissions

The app includes Google’s Firebase Analytics, AdMob (Google Mobile Ads), User Messaging Platform (UMP) and Google Play Games Services SDKs. Data may be sent to Google or shared through advertising services for the choices and purposes described below. The app does not create its own user accounts. Optional Play Games connection uses your Google game account. The app does not use contacts, photo, microphone or GPS permissions. In-app purchases use the Google Play Billing library, and Google Play processes payments and payment information. The app checks the purchase confirmation Google Play sends (product, purchase token, order number) on your device only to add what you bought and to avoid adding the same purchase twice; it is not sent to our servers. Monthly rights are checked from Google Play purchase queries on this device. A first subscription purchase is acknowledged only after its valid rights have been saved; renewal tokens do not grant coins or strawberries again. The subscription renews automatically each month and can be canceled in Google Play subscriptions. After cancellation, benefits continue until the paid period ends. Uninstalling the app or buying the Forever Pass does not automatically cancel a monthly subscription; you must cancel it yourself. Multiple active passes do not stack the limits of three extra strawberry rewards daily, one free revive and one double result reward per run, or benefit multipliers.

The Google Play Billing library (provided by Google) may send information directly to Google to diagnose billing operations and client connection and shutdown. Diagnostic records may be created when prices are loaded, purchases are made or checked, and when a client shuts down before a purchase connection has started. This processing may occur regardless of whether you make a purchase or sales are enabled. Records may wait on the device and be transmitted when a network is available. This includes the type and result of each billing request (response code, a short error description, time taken), the app’s package name and version, the billing library version, the device manufacturer, model, Android version, build information and memory size, language and country settings and time zone, network type, and mobile carrier code. It is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we do not receive or see it. Google processes it under its own privacy policy.

The Android package uses internet permission for Google Play, optional Play Games connection and record synchronization, coupons and Ranked leaderboards, analytics, ads and advertising consent checks, vibration permission for haptic feedback, Google Play billing permission for in-app purchases and network-state permission. You can turn haptics off in the game settings. The game, music, pictures and fonts are bundled for offline use.

Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) is off by default and enabled only if you allow it. For game improvement and measuring installation and use, it sends app opens and sessions, deployment, results, scores, summoning, merging and fever events, an app-instance identifier, app and device information, and approximate location derived from IP to Google. We can view analytics reports. When analytics is enabled, purchase events (product ID, name and price) may be logged automatically depending on the SDK and Google Play linking settings. Our custom analytics events do not include names, email addresses, Play Games player IDs, free-form input, save files or purchase tokens. Analytics advertising-ID collection and consent for advertising personalization are disabled. You can change your analytics choice in App info at any time and play if you decline.

AdMob rewarded ads may be prepared after UMP permits ad requests and are shown only when you choose them. Rewards are granted after an ad is completed and closed. Rewards include 100 strawberries up to three times per day, one revive per run and an optional double result reward once per run. Normal gameplay is available without watching ads. Forever Pass owners and active Monthly Pass subscribers receive 100 extra strawberries up to three times per day and one free revive per run without rewarded ads. The free 10 daily strawberries remain a separate reward. Advertising personalization is disabled. The ads SDK may still collect and share IP addresses and approximate location, interactions such as app opens, taps and video views, diagnostics such as startup time, hangs and energy use, and available device or account identifiers (including advertising ID and app set ID) to display ads, measure performance and prevent fraud. Non-personalized ads do not mean that no data is collected. On the result screen, whether you win or lose, you may choose to watch an ad once per run to double the result rewards. The reward is granted only after the ad is completed and closed and saving is confirmed. This is separate from the 100 extra strawberries available up to three times daily. With the Forever Pass or an active Monthly Pass, you may also choose to claim double result rewards without an ad. Doubling covers coins and strawberries granted by the settlement at the end of this run, including currency rewards from newly completed achievements. Base rewards are granted immediately; claiming the double reward grants the same amount once more. Achievements, statistics and clear counts do not increase again.

At Android app startup, UMP requests an advertising-consent status update from Google and displays any required privacy messages. This check can occur even if you decline analytics or do not watch rewarded ads. Information needed for consent checks and messages, such as IP address, app and device information and consent choices, may be processed. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, you can reopen the message through advertising privacy choices in App info. Ads are requested only when UMP permits them. Your analytics choice is separate from advertising consent.

Google Play Games starts when you first choose to connect in App info. The app remembers this choice and reconnects on later starts and resumes. Google Saved Games stores 20 Google achievements, coins and strawberries, Normal/Hard/Hell map and Endless progress and scores, cat levels and Ranked best, upgrades, the collection, ownership and upgrades of normal and legendary cats, owned and equipped skins, comic unlocks, reading, claimed rewards and login-day history, shop gacha records and transformed purchase identifiers, ad and coupon reward ledgers, and the current run. After connection, progress changes are grouped for save attempts about every 30 seconds. Results, pauses, resumes, and upload or load in App info also synchronize. Original purchase tokens, purchase entitlements and device settings are excluded. Pass rights are restored through Google Play Billing and coupon-server checks on this device. Locally verified purchase rights and records preventing duplicate grants are preserved. Profile names, emails and player IDs are not passed to game code or Firebase analytics events. A SHA-256 player identifier used to separate accounts is kept only inside the Android app. If the Google game account changes, synchronization stops until you explicitly connect the new account in App info. Play Games SDK usage analytics and diagnostics are separate from your Firebase analytics choice. Connection is separate from analytics and ad choices. Disconnect stops this app’s integration; manage Google sign-out and stored-record deletion in Google settings.

Coupons are optional in the Android app shop and require no separate account connection. Checking or redeeming a coupon and checking coupon pass rights require a network connection. On the device, the app converts the Android device identifier (Android ID) using SHA-256 and sends that value and a UUID generated for each app installation to the coupon API. It does not send the original Android ID to the server. Our coupon server and Supabase database process and retain the transformed device identifier, installation UUID, redeemed coupon code, reward receipt ID, granted strawberry amount and pass status, and redemption time. These support one redemption per device for each coupon, total reward limits, retries and duplicate prevention within the same installation, and coupon pass restoration on the same device. Coupons do not require a Google account, email or profile. The coupon API uses a temporary in-memory counter based on a hashed IP address to limit excessive requests.

Ranked leaderboards are joined only when you set a nickname in the Android app; participants are identified by a device identifier, without sign-in or a separate account. As with coupons, the app converts the Android ID on the device with SHA-256 and sends that value and the installation UUID to the leaderboard API; the original Android ID is never sent. Our leaderboard server and Supabase database process and retain the transformed device identifier, your nickname and when it changed, Ranked records (score, wave reached, mice defeated, best combo, team cats and levels, record time) and when they were received, this device's best record from before version 1.6.8 (once), and whether a player is hidden. The server recalculates the score formula and rejects records that do not match. Opening the leaderboard also sends the transformed device identifier to find your own record. Nicknames, scores, waves, team cats and levels are visible to other players on the weekly and all-time leaderboards. The server filters profanity and impersonation of the operator in nicknames, and the operator may hide cheating records or inappropriate nicknames. A temporary in-memory counter of hashed IP addresses limits excessive requests. Web play and the Android free demo make no leaderboard requests.

3. Retention and deletion

Local information remains on your device. If you deploy again while a run is saved, the saved run ends and you receive that run’s coins. Village upgrades and records are kept when you start a new run. Clearing app data in Android settings or uninstalling the app may remove some or all local information.

The current run is saved on this device about every five seconds. You can restore the saved coins, strawberries and current run with the same Google game account, but recovery after an unexpected shutdown is limited to the last saved checkpoint. Offline operation can delay Google updates. SDK acceptance of a save request does not confirm completion on the server. When progress differs, you choose a saved version; balances are not added together or combined by taking the highest values. Connection, uploads and loading require a network and Google services; we do not guarantee that every save or recovery will succeed. We cannot access, delete or restore game data stored on your device.

Diagnostics that the Google Play Billing library sends to Google are retained under Google’s policies; we cannot view or delete them.

Turning analytics off stops future analytics collection. This choice or clearing app data does not delete all analytics, advertising or consent data already sent to Google. That information is retained under Google’s policies and service retention settings. Send privacy questions and requests to taechora2016@gmail.com. We will provide guidance or act within the information we can verify; we do not guarantee remote deletion of information that Google processes independently.

Disconnecting Play Games in App info stops this app’s achievement and record integration and future synchronization. It does not sign you out of your Google account or delete records already stored by Google. To manage or delete game data and profiles held by Google, use the options available in Google Play Games and your Google account settings. Clearing app data does not delete all such records, and we do not guarantee remote deletion of Google account information or records.

Server coupon records are kept while needed for device redemption limits, duplicate prevention and coupon pass restoration. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not automatically delete these server records. Reinstallation changes the installation UUID and does not grant strawberries from an already redeemed coupon again. A coupon pass confirmed for the same device may be restored after an online check; this does not restore a complete game save. A device reset or other identifier changes can prevent verification of the same device. Send coupon-record questions and deletion requests to taechora2016@gmail.com. We will provide guidance or act on records we can verify.

Leaderboard records (transformed device identifier, nickname, all-time best and weekly records) are kept while needed to run the leaderboards; per-run records used to skip duplicate runs and limit submissions are deleted when this device submits additional Ranked records, if more than 35 days have passed since they were received. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not automatically delete server leaderboard records, and reinstalling on the same device may continue as the same participant. Send requests to delete your nickname and records to taechora2016@gmail.com together with your nickname. We handle them as far as we can verify.

4. Email support

You can contact taechora2016@gmail.com. If you send an email using an external email app or service, we use your email address, message and attachments to respond, troubleshoot and handle rights requests. The app does not send this information automatically. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

Support emails are retained while needed to respond and resolve issues, and deleted when retention is no longer necessary, unless applicable law requires retention. You may request deletion of your correspondence at the same address. Google processes email delivery and storage as the email provider under its own privacy policy.

5. Google Play and separate web services

Google independently processes store information associated with app installation, updates, store accounts, in-app purchase payments, refunds and payment methods, and billing library diagnostics under its own policies. This policy does not replace the policies governing Google Play or your email service. Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

The Android free demo makes no advertising, analytics or Play Games SDK requests. Web play does not use the Android Firebase Analytics, AdMob or Play Games SDKs, but it includes existing website analytics tags; separate web analytics may operate according to the website settings. Web play records are not linked to Android app saves. Other services on the TAECHORA website and other apps, including other games set in the PITANYANG world, have their own features and privacy policies. The Android free demo and web play make no coupon or leaderboard server requests.

6. Security and policy changes

Game saves use the device’s app storage. Google advertising and analytics SDK data and billing diagnostics are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS). We do not guarantee the security of the device itself or recovery of data that you delete. Coupon and leaderboard requests also use encrypted HTTPS connections.

If accounts, analytics, ads, online features or other changes affect our data practices, we will update this policy and required declarations. The current policy is available inside the app and on its public policy page.
